  • What is Cashmere?

Cashmere is a very fine wool, taken from the hair of goats, found in the stunning natural Kashmir mountains. The extreme cold there, makes these goats hair, particularly soft and warm.

The manufacturing of these delicate yarns take a very long process.

The Cashmere can either be shorn or combed from the goats which is bought in the countryside by processors and traders, from where it is shipped to dehairing. Once the stock arrives at a processing mill it is generally sorted with a number of goals in mind.

The first is to sort out low-grade cashmere and any synthetic contamination, which is found by checking each thread for its quality.

Next sorting comes by breaking down the fiber into colors - White, Light Grey, Cream and Brown.

After sorting, the greasy fiber is carefully washed to remove the dirt, grease and other impurities getting ready for dehairing.

Once the fiber is dehaired and washed, it is ready to be shipped to spinners, weavers and knitters around the world.

Not all cashmere is equally luxe: The texture, color and length of the fibers, all affect the manufacturing process and finnal pricing. Whiter cashmere fibers require less dye, diminishing the damage that coloring causes to its natural softness and lightness.

Quality also depends on the region in which the wool is collected.

Cashmere products are quite expensive because of this long and delicate process.

His worth is mainly for its quality, softness and warmness.

The look is comfortable.

Cashmere clothes use to look like for regular guys, but when people feel them, they are like, WOW!

This sort of informal nonfashion has emerged as the biggest clothing trend in the current fashion business.
